Red throated loon

Identification: 25" Summer: It has a gray face and a dark red throat. Also has a black body and white stripe underneath its body. Has a black bill to.
Winter:  Faded gray face and and white throat, whitish beak. Body is gradually becoming darker black.

Feeding: Feeds by diving underwater and catching fish. Sometimes is also seen eating in flocks.

Nesting: It has a platform of grasses, twigs, and mud lined around the nest. Is close by to the waters edge. Female makes 1-3 eggs olive brown with dark marks.

Voice: It gives a short wailing noise. Otherwise is very silent.

Habitat: Summers on tundra lakes and arctic coasts. Winters  along the great lakes

My sister wrote her name in cursive

While I was blogging my sister was drawing. Or at least I thought she was. But actually she wasn't.  She was trying to write her name in cursive.  At first she could not write anything.  Then she figured out how to write ahana. But she couldn't write the capital S. So she called my name.  I asked her what do you need she said I don't know how to write S in cursive.  I told her I will teach her and I did. I wrote it on some paper and she copied it. Then she connected it to the rest of her name. Then she showed me and asked is this correct.  I said yes. She was pleased with herself. So she started showing it to my mom and dad. They were impressed. Then she thanked me for teaching her how to write S and connect it.  I said no problem. And that is how my sister wrote her name in cursive. 

Amazing game!

 My friend taught me how to play this amazing, puzzling, mind boggling computer game. It is called forest temple. In the game their are two characters. One is Fireboy and the other is Watergirl. There are many levels. The first level, as you can tell is very easy, but as you go on they become more challenging and puzzling. I'll teach you how to play.  You move Fireboy with the up or the sideways keys. You move Watergirl with the W,A, or D keys. Here is how you pass the levels. First of all you should not mix fire and water together.  Second the green water kills them both. Third you will know when you are done because there is a finish line. You should push levers to stop the fa or to rise elevators up. If you push a button it does the same thing. the only difference of levers and buttons are that you have to stand on to the button until the other player is done with what they need to do and if you push a lever it stays like that forever. In forest temple there are three versions.  The first version is the one I am telling you about. The second one is called the light temple. The third version is called forest temple but is much more challenging.  If you want to here my opinion of the game. It is AMAZING !

The Unknown Forest Part 2

The lion said I think there is a strawberry tree over there that might make you shrink.   Sahana went and ate the strawberry she shrunk and shrunk and shrunk until she became the size of a mouse. Is there any other plants asked Pranay I am afraid not said the lion unless... she wants to eat the leaves of the strawberry. Sahana went and tried one leaf she swallowed it and became her original size. Now that she is her original size every thing is good right said Pranay. Right replied the lion. But there is still one problem said Pranay. What is that asked the lion? Me and my sister, Sahana want to get out of here. Why asked the lion with a smile on his face.The problem is that we want to get out of here and return to our house. Well you will never return without finding the UNKNOWN SPECIES and defeating it. Why do we have to do that asked Sahana. You have to do it because er it is like a passport to get out of his place.Oh said Sahana and wit that she and Pranay went zooming of to find the UNKNOWN SPECIES.  They were out of breath and they sat down on a log they felt something behind it they looked back and there it was the UNKNOWN SPECIES just as the lion described it it was a  mixture of all the animals in the forest.  Pranay and Sahana ran to the lion and said we found the UNKNOWN SPECIES. The UNKNOWN SPECIES meanwhile found Pranay and Sahana and said I declare war. Pranay and Sahana ran but the lion did not. Pranay called out to the lion but he did not come instead he fought the UNKNOWN SPECIES. The lion fought and fought until the UNKNOWN SPECIES defeated him Pranay and Sahana cried, the lion who had been their friend for so long was no longer there.  It was now up to Pranay, Sahana, and the rest of the animals in the forest to defeat this horrid creature.  Both Pranay and Sahana called the rest of the animals in the forest and told them what had happened they felt sad and wanted to defeat that horrid creature. So the animals sprang into action and they worked together to defeat the horrid creature. The cheetah fought the cheetah part of the creature, the owl fought the owl part of the creature, the monkey fought the monkey part of the creature and Pranay and Sahana fought the lion part of the creature they all worked together and defeated the UNKNOWN SPECIES. Just then a magical thing happened.  The lion came back and told Pranay and Sahana they could go back home and have a nice day when they came home they had dinner and went off to sleep. Then Pranay suddenly woke up and said what an amazing dream.I  wish my dream was real Pranay went outside to play and there it was the unknown forest. My dream came true exclaimed Pranay!

New Website

I found a new website called snapircuits.net They have news about snap circuits,and They even have this new thing called "kids kreations".What is kids kreations? you ask. That's a good question and I will tell you the answer. It's a place where kids make there own snapcircuit projects and present the project on the computer.         They teach you how to upgrade your snapcircuits kit. They also show new new products that they are selling too.
 Well that is pretty much all you need to know.

Went to the Radio Shack

Yesterday was a great day it was a Spectacular Saturday.  I went to the Radio Shack. It had cool electronics. I saw some interesting devices. I walked on and on looking at the devices.There was mostly just phones and computers.  But then some thing had caught my eye it was a section full of robots and other devices kids could build.  I saw these kits that taught kids about power,lights and inventions there were a few projects in there to.  There were also small kits that were about building things out of electricity such as a cricket alarm (it chirps like a cricket) or a Christmas tree that lights up.  There were also solar panels that control the light or the fan.  then I saw something really interesting.  Something more interesting than all of those other kits put together it was a micro controlled robot. I took the shelf and started looking at it. My dad said you could control it with the computer.  I was amazed. I was reading something behind it, it taught you how you can make the robot talk. This was what it said it said connect a microphone to your computer then press T ( T stands for training ) after that press 1 and say your first word then do that on and on your robot will learn up till 40 words.  After 40 words it will stop learning. That is how you get the robot to talk. Pretty cool huh ? Then me and may dad had to leave and get back home.  Pretty cool place right ?

The Unknown Forest

One day two kids named Pranay and Sahana went exploring in their garden.  Suddenly they hit a forest in their backyard.  They went inside. They heard a voice.  It sounded like a human.  They went closer and closer to the voice.  Until they found  out who was making that noise.  It was a lion.  Aaah! shrieked Sahana.  Pranay told her don't be scared.  He's nice and  he can talk, watch.  Hello said Pranay.  Hi said the lion in a gruff voice. ( But he was still speaking our language, English). Who are you,  and why do you come here? Pranay answered back and said my name is Pranay and this is my sister Sahana and we don't know how we came here. Where were you when you came here asked the lion. This time Sahana answered and said we were in our garden. Oh well said the lion in that case it's OK come and stay here for as long as you want. It was already midnight so they decided to sleep. The next morning they all woke up and Pranay asked the lion if all  of the animals talk. The lion said yes all the animals do talk. how many different animals live here asked Sahana. Only 4 different animals live here other than me.
said the lion back to Sahana. Do they all talk asked Pranay. Yes all of the animals do talk said the lion. All except one, an UNKNOWN SPECIES. We believe it is a mixture of all of the animals that live here. The other animals other than me and the unknown species are a chimp,a cheetah and an owl . Do you want to meat them asked the lion. Sahana said we sure would like to see them.They lion took them on a tour through the forest . They met the chimp who said hi, they met the  cheetah whose words were blurred  because he was running so fast and they met the owl who said hoo dare disturbs me through my sleep. Then they all  went to the lions den.  They had some berries,the lion also ate berries Pranay and Sahana were surprised.  They thought lions eat meat.  They asked the lion "why are you eating berries and not meat ?" the lion said all animals eat the berries (it does not matter if their meat eater or not) because it helps them talk.  Sahana said Oooh, Pranay said interesting.  Pranay asked what do they they do they do to humans like us.They make humans humongous said the lion. I hope none of you swallowed them.  I swallowed them said Sahana. Pranay spat them out and said I didn't. While Pranay was spitting out the blue berries. Sahana had already grew twenty feet. The good thing was that she did not grow anymore. The bad thing was two times bigger than our house. Sahana asked  if their was any fruit which would shrink her back to her original size...

The Bakugan Blog 2

 Gate Cards


Gate cards are cards that are metal. There are three different colors on each gate card. The three colors are silver,copper and gold.  Lets start with the silver gate card.  The silver gate card is probably the easiest to learn about.   It has almost nothing on it and it is the weakest gate card.  All gate cards have a gate card attribute G bonus. That helps you're Bakugan get more G power,and getting lots of G power is good it's just that getting to much of it could make you're bakugan out of a game.  Anyways let's go on with silver gate cards. now most gate cards have something written on the bottom . Well the silver gate card it has no script written on the bottom
and the G power on the side only gives your bakugan a boost of 50 more G's. now lets go on to copper gate cards.  Copper gate cards have gate card G bonuses up to 200 G's! They usually have a script on the bottom saying change the G's for each bakugan or add another 100 G's  to your bakugan! That's all there is about the copper gate card. And last but not at least golden gate cards golden gate cards are  the best gate cards in all of gate cards and they give your bakugan  a boost of 320 G's. That' lot isn't it. The script they have on the bottom usually say only unevolved bakugan get the gate card G bonus or add another 50 Gs to evolved Bakugan only. Well that's all I know about gate cards.

The Bakugan Blog 1

         What are Bakugans?

Well Bakugans are little marbles which are magnetic. You roll them on a card called a gate card (the gate card is metal) and they open into tiny creatures (sometimes they don't fully open so you have to open it and very few times you have to press a button) , like this.                                                                                      

 

Now that you know how Bakugans open, I will teach you how Bakugans close. It is almost like a puzzle here's is how you close a Bakugan

It is a bit harder than opening a Bakugan but it's really fun.

Another thing about a bakugan is their attribute    here is a picture of all of their attributes.                              

The brown one is sub-terra, the green one is ventus, the red one is pyrus, the white one is haos, the blue one is aquos and the black one is darkus.
The last thing about a Bakugan is it's G's the G's on a bakugan is to show how much power it has. here's a picture of the G's on a Bakugan and G's can come in handy when you're playing Bakugan.

The Yosemite Trip

Hi! I had a Fantastic time last weekend! My family went to Yosemite.  We also lived in a log cabin.  We first went to Bridal veil falls. I had a great time I climbed rocks on the falls.  There was a wading area near Bridal veil falls me and my sister dipped our legs in there.  Then we went to a place called curry village, over there we saw somebody called mother curry.  My dad talked to her for a while,she told us where our log cabin was. We Walked to our log cabin, looked around for a while. Soon after that  we hiked to a place called pizza patio.  We ate pizza over there, then we watched a show.  It was hilarious.  After that we ate an ice cream sundae. It was amazing.After we finished the Ice cream we went to our log cabin . While my mom,dad, and sister were sleeping. I decided to take a look and check if there were bears. When we woke up I claimed I saw a bear. My mom and dad thought I was making it up.  My mom and dad still think I made it up and  I couldn't prove that I saw a bear because I didn't take a picture.  So we had to leave it

that way. Anyways when we woke up we walked to the bus station. There we took a bus that led us close to a falls called venal falls. me and my family walked all the way up the falls. Up on top  of the falls their was an amazing view of the water fall and the plants surrounding it. Climbing down was harder than going up. I felt like I was going to fall. Luckily we did not fall and we made it safely. Next time , I told my dad that I would climb Yosemite falls. Later we walked to the bus station.  We rode on the bus back to our campsite. We rested for sometime.  Then we went to another show.  It was about not polluting or doing other bad things to Yosemite.
It turns out The people preforming this show have done it for ten years!

After the show we had some ice cream from the same creamery and then left.  When we were in the car I saw the view of Yosemite falls. It was bigger than Vernal falls.  In fact it was so tall it was the fifth tallest falls in the world.

That is my experience in Yosemite.

 

My Day at The Academy of Sciences

Hi my name is Pranay.I went to the academy of sciences in San Francisco.It  was awesome I'll tell about a few animals that I saw 
1.African hunting dogs 
used to hunt with hundred dogs or more dogs.Today they only live in packs
with 2-30 dogs 
2.albino alligators
have red eyes,they eat turtles,fish and carrion.The strongest part of their bodies is the tail because it helps it  to overpower and become faster.Albinos can be very weak even though their really BIG and if you have not seen one they are white.
3.cheetahs
as you probably know are the worlds fastest animals in the world but I bet you did not know this they can only for 1 minute and 15 seconds.
4.arctic foxes
 turn white in the winter and turn gray in the summer they turn these
 colors to camouflage in they're surroundings And they camouflage
to catch they're prey.They weigh about a tenth and feed on birds,
berries and eggs.
                                     5. klipspringers and dik-dik
are among the smallest antelopes in Africa. The klipspringers are 

20 inches and the dik-diks are 14 inches.Klipspringers prefer rocky places and diks diks jump in tall grass. they jump several times their own size. they jump to see what lies ahead of them and some say they bounce like bouncing balls. 
6. olive baboons: live in the open grasslands and woodland area.
These animals eat just about anything including grass,seeds and insects.
7. lemurs
can only be found in Madagascar. They mostly live in trees or bushes.The only lemur that stays on ground is the Ringtail lemur.They have big bushy tails.These tails are used for leaping from tree to tree.

 
So those are a few of the animals I saw in the Academy of Sciences.

The Clock that went too Fast

One sunny morning a friendly boy named Ned was trotting down the hillside to get to his house,all of a sudden a strange little cottage appeared on the side.Since his legs were a little tired he thought it would be nice to have a rest.So the boy went in to the cottage to have a rest.The tiny cottage had a table, kitchen, cupboard, food, shelves, a bed and a clock.Of course Ned did not know the clock went faster than a jiffy.The boy slept for 20 minutes and woke up.He saw the clock.The time was 6:00,he was so frightened.He ran as fast as his legs could take him.He ran till he reached his big house.His mother asked Ned why are you running as fast as the wind?Ned said I thought it was already 6:00.His mom said look at the time .Ned looked at the clock and it was only 2:30.Ned's mother asked him who told you it was 6:00?Ned told his mom about the clock in the cottage.

His mother asked him you don't think it's broken do you?Ned said no. His mother said let me check (his mother was a mechanic).His mother checked the clock and sure enough it was broken.She fixed the clock and from then on, Ned went to the cottage after school every day.

Two Music Stories

Hi there ,how do you do? I am pleased  to meet  all  of  you.
Allow me to introduce myself:  my name is Clause.You may not know many people named Clause.
Do you know that I love playing music and I know all the best music players such as
Mozart,Beethoven and Louis Armstrong?I can play almost every instrument but my favorite instrument is piano.Here are a few more instruments I play: I play the tuba,violin and horn.Now that you know a lot more about me,  here are two L  O  N  G stories I would like to share. Did any of
you guess that this story is magical if you did you are right.Now is every one set so the story 
can begin?"Yes"OK! lets begin.


I came back from piano class and went to my room [witch is filled with music].
and guess what I saw all of my instruments were running all by there selves .Did not I tell you it was
magic.Now where did I leave of .Oh Yeah!I remember.I thought that a wizard made a magic potion 
to make all of my instruments play by themselves.Oh yeah wizards do not exist. have you ever seen a wizard before? you have not; I have not too. 

Now lets move on with the story,I was strolling along the sidewalk suddenly I saw man who was
walking beside me,guess what he had.He had a pointed hat which was blue and it had yellow stars
on it he also had a robe and a sack that had lots of  instruments in it!I asked him
are you a wizard Yes he said.So your the one who made my instrument talk along with many others
right.Yes uh um I mean no.Really?Yes really.Well then why do you have a bubbling pot next to
you and lots of music in a sack.Um he scratched his head and thought up a answer
and said I like having things around myself.Really?tell me the truth.He sighed and said the truth.  I lied I did make your instruments come alive.He took of his hat and said sorry.It's O.K. I said.Now can You please turn My instruments back into regular instruments.Sure he said.And he turned them .Also the wizard got to live with the boy and his family.[the wizard never had a family]
Wasn't that a nice story.Oh I almost  forgot.do you want to meet the wizard?
Oh hello there I am the wizard my name is Zodiac by by.I think he was happy to meet you. 

My second story is well also magical except it does not have a wizard,it is more like your in a magic world with no wizard.
This world has 30 dragons and 20 unicorns and a giant snake that is bigger than both of the unicorns and dragons put together!It starts of with me at home and I went outside and boy what a beautiful sight it was it had dragons and unicorns and  it also had a bright orange sunset.Then I  
actually went into the world of magic.Then a dragon came up to me so I rode on it.The color of the dragon was black.The ride on that dragon was awesome.I saw a volcano and a snowy land and a
land full of vikings I thought that the vikings were going to kill the dragon but it turns out that they were on the dragons team.I saw many other places to.One day a big snake came and it loved music so it stole the dragons musical instruments.so we came to fight the big snake everyone tried but could not get the snake last it was our turn we got the snake.We also got the instruments back
then the dragons and unicorns played the instruments very nicely.Today people visit the land that I
named [it is called Dinotopia] from all around the world come to visit and hear the beautiful sound
and wonderful sights.The End.

OUCH!

Dude!I got pricked by a thorn today.OUCH!and it still hurts.OUCH,OUCH!M OUCH!my name is OUCH my name is not OUCH! my name is Ryan. I live with my two older sisters, my brother who is as old me and my grandparents I do have a pretty big family don't you think.I am 17 years old.I got pricked by the thorn when I was playing OUCH my favorite game base ball.Do you guys want to see my house.Well here it is.This is the kitchen,bathroom,hall,sports room,bedrooms [panting]
I don't know how many rooms I will OUCH!get to.My house is over 24 stories high.PreOUCH!pretty BIG huh.I think I have time to show you one more room before I have to do my home work it is my favorite room here it is the fantasy room.It always gives me ideas 
for stories [that are not true].Ryan!oh that's my mom,probably calling me to do my home work gotta go.Yes mom.Do your home work.Sure mom.
